NEWS ANALYSIS: Negotiations on a cease-fire in Gaza are still without results, Reuters reported on Tuesday.

There must be agreement on several aspects of a possible agreement, including more emergency aid to Gaza.

But one cannot completely agree. Meanwhile, 95 days have passed since the first week-long ceasefire broke down on 1 December. The number of Palestinians reported killed has doubled from 15,000 to 30,600.

Why is it so difficult to stop the war? Both sides accuse each other of sabotaging the negotiations.
