Your contact has not been synced

- Open your WhatsApp;

- On the new page, tap the three vertical dots on the far right;
- Select Refresh.
Your WhatsApp contacts will be refreshed automatically.
You didn’t save the contact properly
If you don’t see a contact on WhatsApp while he does have a WhatsApp account, it’s probably because you have incorrectly entered the number.
If it’s a national number, you probably misspelled a digit. In this case, you must request the contact again. On the other hand, if it is an international number, you will have to add the telephone country code and save the number in international format.

Your contact no longer uses WhatsApp
When you no longer see a contact on WhatsApp, it is possible that he deleted his account or lost their phone.

Your contact has changed number
If your contact changes their phone number, you won’t be able to see them on WhatsApp anymore, since you still have their old number. But in this case, WhatsApp would have already notified you that the contact has changed number and that the news should be saved. If you don’t do this within 30 days, you will no longer be able to see your contact with their old number. In your list of contact WhatsAppyou will see the number at the very bottom, among those who no longer have a WhatsApp account.
Your WhatsApp is not up to date
If you don’t see a contact on WhatsApp, the problem could also be that you have an outdated version. The best thing to do in this case is to update your app. Go to PlayStore or AppStore and update the app. Then check the other options from the top.
