For example, that the Ruhr area would have merged all the cities in the Ruhr area into a megapolis after coal and iron into a modern city called “Ruhr-Stadt” and would have skyscrapers and lots of new apartments, perhaps a new city designed on the drawing board?
Then, in addition to perhaps Berlin, Germany would have a real big city with several million inhabitants? Plus a real metro system, like in New York City, but modern.
For that, all Cologne and Düsseldorf residents could go to “Ruhr-Stadt, with a fat Immenstadt full of skyscrapers. If the Americans can do that, why can’t we at least go to a megapolis?
There may also be “Ruhr-wood” as a music and film producer, or “Ruhr-Holz”, but this time without Illuminati and child molesters. Just lovely Peter Lustig’s.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s family comes from Oer-Erkenschwick. He could have been brought to “Ruhr-wood”.
The USA certainly didn’t want something like that and that’s why we have the ridiculous-looking “Main-hatten” in FFM, more likely “Kein-hatten” as puny as that is.
Cologne and Düsseldorf then become villages after most of them relocated to “Ruhr-Stadt”. A big cathedral for a village, it certainly attracts a lot of tourists.
The Ruhr city is becoming a “smart and green city”, with many green spaces and cycle paths. Pedestrians, cyclists and of course public transport have priority over cars.
Trucks or small vans for removals and RTW/police/fire departments obviously have special rights, but on average these are the exception.
OK, my plan can be viewed as too radical and unrealistic overall, for various reasons.
But the Green Cities seem to be working in the Netherlands and the quality of life has been significantly improved. The “green communism” thing is nonsense.
The Americans eat themselves sick and death, use the SUV for everything and (small) children are sat in front of iPads and all is well.
There are channels on YouTube where people from the USA travel to the city, ideally the Netherlands. E.g. Amsterdam.
One channel is called “NotJustBikes” and he can’t believe how much better Amsterdam and the Netherlands are compared to the US.
I don’t know why the Americans are the way they are. Fun fact: New York City was first populated by Dutch people and I believe it should be called “New Amsterdam.”
What I also “hate” about the USA is that prisons are a business model, and so are hospitals. Both are privatized and that is anything but good.
Why is the US doing all these things to itself? Alzheimer’s comes from the USA (mainly). Too much sugar causes Alzheimer’s, just like the “vegetable fats” since the beginning of the 20th century (to make it sound healthy and which have replaced expensive animal fats) oxidize very quickly and are converted into toxic substances in the body. This does not apply to many animal fats, butter or even coconut oil. I used to prepare simple lentil soup with frozen imperial vegetables, curry powder, salt and pepper and just a little coconut oil. Not bad in my opinion, healthy and easy to prepare. Also good for the animals, who didn’t have to suffer for it.
