Society needs their reason and speech, which will ignite, remove from it the shackles of delusions, misunderstandings and offer answers to unanswered questions. Total silence. Well, there was a writer with a strong Bulgarian bone and spirit who proudly declared: “If they cut off my head, I will still cry for Bulgaria to live!” Haitov is long gone. Gone are the anxious and angry intellectuals, so that they can shout at the top of their lungs like the great Zola: “I blame!”
If they continue to hide, the people will blame them.
