Even by 10%, the shares of Nuclearelectrica (stock symbol SNN), the only producer of nuclear energy in Romania, appreciated during the meeting on Friday, the state company reaching a record capitalization of over 10.5 billion lei (over 2 billion euros), almost twice as much compared to the beginning of the year.
SNN shares were traded on Friday at 15.40 at the price of 34.95 lei per unit, up 5.1% compared to the previous meeting, amid transactions of 4.8 million lei, according to aggregate data from ZF from Bucharest Stock Exchange. Friday’s session,
September 24, was the fourth in a row in which SNN shares increased, in the context in which, say analysts surveyed by ZF, rising energy prices will be reflected in the company’s results, but also given a possible demand for dividends special from the Romanian state, shareholder with 82.5% of the company.
