That seaweed is a promising superfood is nothing new. The green powerful plant is rich in minerals and fibres, tasty and low in calories. Seaweed – incidentally a good alternative to traditional vegetables – has played an important role in Asian cuisine, especially Japanese, for thousands of years.
In Europe we mainly know seaweed from the sushi we eat for lunch or dinner. But seaweed for breakfast? This will be new for many Europeans. And maybe some getting used to.
