This was stated by the People’s Representative from the BSP LEFT BULGARIA Mihail Mikov, who participated in the celebration of the 160th anniversary of the birth of Dimitar Blagoev in Vidin today.

According to Mikov, the accumulation of capital in the last 25 years is shaping social relations in the same way as they were shaped in the years after our liberation from Turkish slavery. “These controversies will continue to exist, and although some think it’s old, stale, that there are no such controversies – there are such controversies, only they are resolved in a different way. The worker packs up and goes abroad in the first year, and in the second and third takes his wife and child to simply have a better life. “Whoever closes his eyes to this, who claims that there is no left and right, who claims that there is no exploitation, simply does not understand what it is all about”, the socialist was categorical.

At a solemn extended meeting of the Municipal Council in Vidin, he recalled facts from the life of Dimitar Blagoev, who was a teacher and director of the high school in the city after his expulsion from Tsarist Russia. After him, Mikov led a procession from the party headquarters to the Dimitar Blagoev monument, where flowers were laid, and speeches were made by the chairman of the Municipal Council of the BSP, Dimitar Velkov, and the chairman of the Bulgarian Anti-Fascist Union in Vidin, Vladimir Ivanov.
