Who writes on WhatsApp? Soon it will be much easier to find out

Exciting new features are coming to a popular messaging app, aimed at improving the user experience. The recently unveiled feature allows you to see who is writing or recording a message, making interactions more intuitive and fluid for all users.

New changes are coming to the messaging app. These changes continue to be discovered and demonstrate an improvement aimed at making this service even simpler and more intuitive. The latest discovery changes the way the author of a message is displayed, making it easier to visually identify.

Know who is writing on the messaging app

This new feature has just been revealed by the famous WABetaInfo channel, which tested the latest beta version of this application, both on iOS and Android. In this version, several elements were found, indicating that the application is preparing a significant change in the way conversations take place.

This change is entirely visual, with the app displaying the sender’s icon while they compose a message. This indicates that when a person records a voice or text message, their photo or profile icon will appear in the conversation with a symbol describing the action being taken.

For a voice message, the icon associated with the sender will be a microphone. On the other hand, for a written message, a bubble-shaped symbol with three points will appear. The choice of these symbols is judicious and representative, making it easier to identify the type of message in preparation.

Icons to indicate the author of messages

The objective is clear: to make it easier to identify the contact who is about to send a message within a group. This avoids confusion when several people have the same name or have similar profile photos.

In addition, by integrating this functionality, it will also become easier to recognize people present in a group. All users currently writing will be displayed in a much more visual way, allowing you to see that what has been sent has sparked reactions among group members.

For now, this new feature is only available to a few users of the beta version of the messaging application on Android and iOS. We will have to wait to find out when this functionality will be integrated into the stable version of the application.
