JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Recently, the Rp50 denomination with a picture of a Komodo dragon is being hunted by collectors.
One of the collectors who is interested in the old coins is Ico W. Through his personal YouTube channel, Ico revealed that he is ready to buy IDR 50 coins with pictures of Komodo dragons up to IDR 2.5 million.
However, the man from Surabaya has a number of provisions for the Rp50 coin he will buy. Starting from having to be in good condition to being a 1997 issue of coins.
For one coin of IDR 50 Komodo dragon issued in 1997, Ico will buy it at a price of IDR 50,000.

Meanwhile, for a bundle of IDR 50 Komodo dragons issued in 1997 and still neatly wrapped, Ico will give a higher price.
“I will buy the price of one bundle (Rp 50 komodo coins issued in 1997) at a price of Rp 2,500,000,” said Ico.
Ico also said that currently collectors are eyeing the IDR 50 Komodo coin, especially the 1997 mint.
“The IDR 50 Komodo dragon has indeed become the target of collectors. Especially the 1997 printing year,” he explained.
