The ‘Sindulfos’ have managed to reach their last black bomb with the entire team. In addition, they had the advantage they had gained in the first test of the program and have been able to calmly rule out the white cable option. Juanra Bonet has asked them a very curious question, which they have been able to solve without problems.
The presenter has asked them to choose from the options ‘a truth about vaccines’. The answers were as varied as they were curious: ‘the 1st used in Spain was that of mumps’, ‘the triple viral is used for tetanus’, ‘the word comes from ‘cow’, ‘milk protein is used in its manufacture ‘ or ‘Ramón y Cajal patented two’.
After cutting the white wire, the ‘Sindulfos’ have got down to work and between the four of them they have been developing their own theories. They knew perfectly well the activities of Ramón y Cajal and they knew that vaccines were not among them, they knew what triple viral disease consisted of…
Thanks to their knowledge and their good logic they have been able to rule out options until they found the right one and got another amazing plenary session in the initial phase of ‘Boom!’. Do you know the answer?
Juanra Bonet has explained the curious origin of this word. The term ‘vaccine’ comes from the word ‘cow’, as it was the study of smallpox in cows that allowed the English scientist Edward Jenner to discover a vaccine for humans at the end of the 18th century. Incredible but true!
