Who is Eden Golan
The singer is 20 years old. She was born on October 5, 2003. The girl was born in Israel, but grew up in Russia. Golan’s family moved to Moscow because of her father’s work. And her mother has Ukrainian roots.
Golan was in the Russian Federation until 2022. She actively gave interviews, participated in Russian shows and built a career. Also, the girl did not hide the fact that in the Russian Federation she did not feel like “she belonged” and noticed anti-Semitism.
But after February 24, 2022, when the aggressor country began a full-scale war against Ukraine, the singer returned to Israel.

Scandals around the Golan
The singer is regularly accused of living in the Russian Federation. But this is not the only scandalous topic in her biography.
In 2016, Golan performed in occupied Crimea. The singer went there to the “New Wave” concert, held by Putinist artists. The girl sang along with the Russian woman Nyusha, who does not condemn the war and is silent about the crimes of the occupiers.

Before the second semi-final, where Golan competed, she encountered manifestations of hatred. The girl was booed by the audience, and at the competition itself, safety standards were observed to avoid provocations and tragedies.
And before the finale, information surfaced that Golan had been added to the Peacemaker database. This happened a few months ago.
