After a year away from continental competitions, Tottenham are back in UEFA competitions, having qualified for the Europa League for the 24/25 season.
The draw was made on Friday and Spurs have a rather complicated itinerary, with visits to Scotland, Türkiye and Germanyin addition to receiving the Roma.

- Rangers (Scotland, away)
- AZ Alkmaar (Netherlands, home)
- Ferencváros (Hungary, away)
- Karabagh (Azerbaijan, at home)
- Galatasaray (Türkiye, away)

- Hoffenheim (Germany, away)
How many teams make it to the next round? Here’s the new Europa League format
The ‘League’ format that UEFA is launching in the Europa League It is similar to the Champions League. It works as follows:
- Each of the 36 teams plays against 8 rivals, two from each draw pot.
- A general table is made and The top eight advance directly to the round of 16.
- From 9 to 16 they will have the advantage of playing at home in the second leg of the round of 32
- Clubs in positions 17 to 24 closing with visitors.
Europa League match schedule
Although The dates are already known when the games will be, the Europa League schedule will be announced on August 31st.
