The semifinals of the cup between Sparta and Jablonec were very emotional. And coach Petr Rada was traditionally very emotional in the post-match interview. He was outraged by the reporter’s questions about the collected goal.
Jablonec started great at Letná when Malínský scored the lead. But the Spartans responded twice, first with Čvančara and then with Krejčí II.
However, the North Bohemians did not give up and within ten minutes of the match they turned around the goals of Kratochvíl and Štěpánek again. However, in the 96th minute, they equalized for 3: 3, when at first Minčev headed completely alone and then Čvančar knocked down the ball, which Hanuš kicked in front of himself.
It was this goal that the Czech Television reporter logically asked in a post-match interview. However, the Council had a clear answer to the question of what it would blame the players for equalizing goals. “At the equalizer? Probably nothing, “ he replied briefly. He was bothered by the fact that, according to him, the ball did not cross the goal line and Sparta should not have kicked the corner from which it leveled.
“Didn’t you think there was a need for poor player coverage?” the reporter did not turn away and provoked Rad’s anger. “There was no corner, sir! There was no corner! And you’re asking me this! Don’t ask me this! Why don’t you ask me if it was a horn or not? Didn’t you watch football ?! I’ll blame the players for something in the cabin, “ the Council raged.
When the reporter asked if the Council did not agree with the referees’ statements, the Jablonec coach had a hard answer again. “No no no no. I’ll blame my cabin players, but I won’t tell you why? ” Jablonec’s coach continued.
When the reporter then asked about the extension, whether Jablonec should not be more active, the Council replied ironically: “I guess so, you’re right.”
When the 63-year-old coach left, his words were still recorded by the camera. “You’re still training me!” he muttered to the reporter.
