Singer Monika Liu with the song “Sentimentai” in Lithuanian won the finals of the Lithuanian national selection competition “Try again 2022”. Similar to the Latvian “Supernova”, the winner in Lithuania was determined by the vote of both the spectators and the jury.
“Sentimentai” reminds many Lithuanians of retro music of the 20th century. This will be the first time since 1994 that a Lithuanian representative will perform a song in Lithuanian on the big “Eurovision” stage.
Estonia will be represented this year by musician Stefan with the song “Hope”. In the final of the national selection competition “Eesti Laul”, his victory was determined by the vote of the audience.
It has already been reported that the band “Other Boys” with the song “Eat Your Salad” won the ticket to represent Latvia in the final “Eurovision” song contest, which will take place in Italy this year, in the final of the LTV song contest “Supernova 2022”.
In the final, the results of the spectators’ text message and telephone vote were counted together with the results of the jury vote.
