There continues to be a threat of a possible assassination of President Aleksandar Vucic, according to Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin, quoted by Serbian TV N1 and BTA.
“While Zvitser (Radoje Zvitser, leader of the Montenegrin criminal group Kavački clan) is at large, assassination of Vucic is possible. We do not know who is behind the clans and until this is revealed, the threat to the life of the president grows every day.” Vulin said to Happy TV.
At the beginning of the year, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia announced to journalists that an attempt was being prepared against Vucic. He then said that according to operational information, a criminal group headed by Radoe Zvitser was preparing the assassination attempt.
Soon after, the public was informed of a new planned assassination attempt against the president, which was supposed to be carried out by Velko Belivuk’s criminal group, which was subsequently broken up.
There were also warnings about the danger of an attack against Aleksandar Vucic in 2020, when Vulin also stated that the police had operational data that an attempt was being prepared against the country’s president.
