Who will be the caretaker Prime Minister? Three names are conjugated

President Rumen Radev is expected to dissolve parliament on May 11th and appoint a caretaker government. Who the new prime minister will be, however, is a mystery. Radev gave the joker that the prime minister would be a man.

So far, 3 names have been linked to the caretaker Prime Minister, he announced New TV. The first is on Boyko Rashkov. He was director of the National Investigation Service and, in the recent past, headed the Office of Special Intelligence Control. He is a member of the President’s Legal Council.

Another possible name is the current adviser to the president – Stefan Yanev. He has already served once in Radev’s caretaker government, serving as deputy prime minister and defense minister. He is currently advising the head of state on national security issues.

Wed. Daniel Valchev is also the potential acting prime minister. The former Minister of Education has been out of politics for years and is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Sofia University.

“I would like to inform you that I intend to invite authoritative experts from the left,” Radev commented.

The Socialists themselves clarified yesterday that they do not know which of them can become ministers.

“We have not talked to the president about names and other such issues,” said Hristo Prodanov of the BSP.

So far, the president has made an official cabinet, which was headed by Professor Ognian Gerdjikov. His second government is also expected to have familiar names.
