With rising tensions and competition between China and ASV, both countries are looking for new regions in which to increase their influence. In recent years, several rounds of this struggle between hegemonists have already taken place in Southeast Asia, but now it’s time for the Middle East.
By creating such an alliance, both nations gain a strong trading partner who will not question the policies adopted by the countries. A key outcome of the summit, which focused on trade deals on oil, technology, infrastructure and security, was an agreement that the two countries would not interfere in each other’s domestic politics.
