The Qatar World Cup There are hours left until the start and we don’t know who will be the champion, what we do know is that the Mexicans have already created the atmosphere, for better or for worse.
Just yesterday the organizers of the World Cup tournament announced that they will not sell alcohol in stadiums, nor within two kilometers around sports centres.
This forced sponsor Budweiser to remove some beer coolers.

This fact had never happened at the World Cup. The breweries have also been sponsors for a long time.
“La Chiquitibum” from the 1986 World Cup in Mexico
For example, in the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, Carta Blanca was one of the sponsors. But it was one of his commercials that went beyond the commercial question to become part of popular anecdotes.
The commercial showed a group of fans supporting the Mexican team with an applause that also reached the stands of that World Cup and was sung at the Azteca stadium.

But what most caught the attention of Mexicans and foreigners alike was the presence of a woman in that commercial, who was wearing a T-shirt with the sponsor’s beer logo.
The girl was very young and of Argentine origin, but she became a social phenomenon at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. Because of the cheering that was sung in the commercial, she was nicknamed “La Chiquitibum”, even though her real name is Mar Castro.
The fame acquired by “La Chiquitibum” led her to play alongside Antonio Aguilar, Maricela Rubiales and Angélica Aragón in a film.
Currently, Mar Castro lives in California, United States.
