WHO says 200 cases of monkeypox spread around the world

The World Health Organization (WHO) reports about 200 cases cpickled monkey and more than 100 suspected cases spread around the world, as of Thursday (26/5).

The monkeypox epidemic hit most countries in Europe.

The report was submitted by the European Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) in an epidemiological note released on Wednesday (25/5).

They added that most cases were detected in young men who had sex with other men.

England, where monkeypox was first detected, has at least 85 confirmed cases.
