After an incident on Sunday afternoon (New Year’s Day) on Waldstrasse involving a police car and three-wheeler, police are still looking for witnesses; both users of the white Piaggio were injured.

According to initial results, the police Mercedes Vito drove along Bleichstraße at around 3.45 pm and made its way to the intersection with Waldstraße without using any special signals. There the three-wheeled Piaggio drove up the forest road from the direction of the market square. The 47-year-old motorcyclist braked, lost control of the tricycle, which eventually skidded in the intersection area. Offenbacher suffered a serious knee injury and grazed head. Its 48-year-old passenger suffered minor foot injuries. Both arrived at the hospital. There probably wasn’t a collision.

Witnesses are invited to call 069/8098-5100.
