But these concerns do not seem to have any value for Russian virologists and World Health Organization experts (WHO), Dmitry Lvov. He was not at all interested in responding to that assumption.
“Coronavirus was originally related to bats. A person can be infected either in a room where bats stay overnight or in a cave where bats usually live in swarms,” he said.
About 150 viruses have been transmitted from animals to humans during the domestication of wild animals, Lvov told a Russian TV program last week.
