WHO Reveals Worsening Situation in Gaza After Israeli Attacks: CNN Indonesia

Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) at Palestine Richard Peeperkorn revealed the situation in Gazaafter the ceasefire was not extended and Israel returned to attack the area.

He later said, “There is intensive bombing underway, including in the south, Khan Younis and even in Rafah.”

From Monday night to Tuesday morning, the southern region of Gaza was in turmoil. Israel launched attacks, surrounding civilian facilities and placing snipers on rooftops.

Israel also attacked the Jabalia Al Balad Refugee Camp and killed 15 people.

On Tuesday, Israeli troops also attacked the Nuseirat refugee camp in Central Gaza. As a result of their attacks, at least 50 people died.

The Israeli attack also left dozens of people injured. They were then rushed to Nasser Hospital.

Israel again attacked Gaza on a large scale after the ceasefire ended.

Israel and the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, agreed to a ceasefire on November 24. This peace agreement was extended twice and ended on November 30. As a result of the latest attacks, nearly a thousand people in Palestine died.

Israel launched aggression since October 7. During the operation, they attacked citizens and civilian objects. To date, the total number of victims of Israeli attacks has reached 16,000 people.
