The World Health Organization (WHO) invites the world to make difficult decisions regarding Corona pandemic (COVID-19). WHO asked all parties to commit to end the pandemic in 2022.
“2022 should be the year we end the pandemic,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told reporters in Geneva.
Tedros said all parties wanted normal life to return to normal. He understands that everyone wants to spend time with friends and family.
“We all want to spend time with friends and family. We all want to get back to normal,” he said.
However, he said, to return to normal, all must protect themselves from the Omicron variant. According to him, the new Corona variant is what makes the spread fast and increasingly soaring.
