WHO Removes Azithromycin and Oseltamivir from Covid-19 Drug List, Ministry of Health: Still Safe to Use

WARTAKOTALIVE, JAKARTA – The Ministry of Health has not decided to remove the drug Azithromisin and Oseltamivir for the standard of care for Covid-19 patients.

Spokesperson for the Covid-19 vaccination of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Siti Nadia Tarmizi MEpid, said that his party was still reviewing revisions from a number of professional organizations related to the Covid-19 protocol.

Previously, experts from the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Prof Zubairi Djoerban said, revision of usage Oseltamivir and Azithromisin WHO also carried out for Covid-19 patients.

Oseltamivir is an antiviral drug, which is used to treat Influenza infections in the body.
