The actor revealed the secret of the payment.
A Russian actor starred in new episodes of the series “Crown”. Anatoly Kotenev played Boris Yeltsin. He told how he got into a foreign show and how much he was paid for filming.
When the actor learned about the auditions, he immediately shot a parody, sent the recording and went about his business. He didn’t even expect to be invited to the series. Soon, however, a proposal came from the director, who had already auditioned via videoconference.
In an interview “KP” the artist admitted that the role was assigned to him quite simply, because due to his age he understood how the Russian president felt then.
“I have a mortgage and they have been very helpful. I paid almost everything at once. And the payments were on time. I’ll reveal a little secret, they always paid for a full week of work there. Even if you shot for a day, even three days, they paid for like a week,” he told her.
