New photos and videos, shown for the first time a few days ago, reveal the construction of a yacht in the Netherlands, which will be 127 meters long, Business Insider writes.
According to a publication published by Boat International, the vessel is currently known by its working name Y721 and is being built by Oceanco.
The Dutch company is known for having built some of the largest and most luxurious yachts in the world.
The vessel is not yet complete, and the project is expected to be completed next year, when it will become the largest sailing yacht in the world.
Journalist Brad Stone was the first to point out that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos may be the mysterious owner because he ordered “one of the most beautiful yachts that can exist.”
Bezos has also ordered another, smaller yacht, which will have a helipad.
Bezos’ friend Lauren Sanchez is a helicopter pilot, and according to Stone, Bezos himself also attended flight courses.
According to Auto Evolution, the project, built at Oceanco, is valued at $ 500 million.
Although not a big fan of yachts, in recent years Bezos has been spotted on some of the largest vessels in the world owned by his friends.
