Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) said the government has receivables of IDR 75.3 trillion that have not been collected and executed.
Director of State Receivables and Other State Assets of the Ministry of Finance, Lukman Efendi, explained that the total receivables amounting to Rp 75.3 trillion is the total state bad debts made by the Ministry of Finance.
The state receivables of Rp 75.3 trillion came from 59,514 cases of state receivables (BKPN). Unfortunately, DJKN is pessimistic that all receivables can be resolved or fully paid by the debtor. So that the government only targets to be able to collect state receivables reaching Rp 2.26 trillion.
“Because the debt has been a long time ago, not all of it can be known or traced. Is there a document and the amount, whether the debtor is still alive, and what are the collateral,” Lukman explained, as quoted (5/12/2020).
Therefore, in transforming or improving the management of state receivables, DJKN has decided to provide receivables made by Ministries / Agencies, State Public Agencies (BUN) or Local Governments to settle their own receivables.
The awarding of accounts receivable management wins to K / L is stated in the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) 163 / PMK.06 / 2020 concerning Management of State Receivables at Ministries / Institutions (K / L), State General Treasurer (BUN) and Simple Management by the Affairs Committee State Receivables (PUPN).
Now, K / L has the authority to manage state receivables which are under Rp. 8 million, do not have collateral, there are no documents that prove the existence and amount of receivables, as well as disputed receivables at the District Court, and receivables returned or rejected by PUPN .
