Masterchef Celebrity 9 arrives with 16 contestants on RTVE, from actors and actresses to celebrities like Pocholo, singers, politicians or influencers with millions of followers. One of the new faces is Topaz Freshan Argentine singer, actress, dancer, art gallery owner and transgender activist based in Spain since 2002.
Born in Rosario (Argentina) on December 26, 1973 (in Masterchef Celebrity 9 she is 50 years old), she shone as a backing vocalist for Fangoria, the band of one of her best friends, Alaska, with whom she participated in the reality show “Alaska and Mario.”
She has also appeared in films directed by Pedro Almodóvar (Dolor y Gloria) and Alex de la Iglesia (Las brujas de Zumarragurdi), in series such as Paquita Salas and participated in several television programs. From now on she hopes to be recognized for her culinary skills and to bring her sense of humor, friendliness and self-confidence to the kitchen.
From a very young age she was interested in contemporary art. She has been a contributor to Fangoria, opened La Fresh Gallery in Madrid, and is currently involved in cultural curating in museums and galleries and gives art masterclasses.

She learned to cook at a very young age for the whole family. Now she does it for her dogs, her husband and her friends. She excels at meatloaf, Argentine empanadas, Valencian paella and gratin potatoes. She also enjoys gastronomy in restaurants such as El Celler de Can Roca and Kaleja. She often visits her friend Ramón Freixa’s restaurant and had the opportunity to sit down at El Bulli.
