Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan said that vaccination in his province had reached 105 percent. While comparing achievements vaccination, he said there was a ‘neighbor’ who had only 15 percent vaccinated. Which area is Anies insinuating?
“In Jakarta, every day we can vaccinate more than 200 thousand people per day. Why is that? We have more than 300 health centers and more than 300 health centers. The heating continues in a year with this distribution system. that has been exceeded, while there are still 15 neighbors, some are 20 percent,” said Anies in the second National Congress of KAMMI KA which was broadcast virtually, Saturday (28/8/2021).
As is known, DKI Jakarta Province is neighboring to a number of regions. In the west there is Banten Province (Tangerang Regency, South Tangerang City) and in the east and south there is West Java (Bekasi Regency, Bekasi City, Depok City).

1st vaccination achievement
1. DKI Jakarta: 116.9%
2. West Java: 24.2%
– Bekasi Regency: 25.0%
– Bekasi City: 35.8%
– Depok City: 24.7%
3. Banten: 28.7%
– Tangerang Regency: 23.5%
– South Tangerang City: 48.3%
2nd vaccination achievement
1. DKI Jakarta: 67.02%
2. West Java: 13.00%
– Bekasi Regency: 12.3%
– Bekasi City: 19.3%
– Depok City: 17.5%
3. Banten: 15.75%
– Tangerang Regency: 12.1%
– South Tangerang City: 27.8%
For the first dose of vaccination on the island of Java, there are no provinces with vaccination achievements in the tens of percent. West Java’s achievement with 24.2% is the 1st lowest vaccination achievement in Java.
For the second dose of vaccination, many of Jakarta’s neighbors still have only a dozen percent. For example, the province of West Java as a whole had a second dose of vaccination at 13.00 percent.
The closest province outside Java to Jakarta is Lampung. the achievement of the 1st COVID-19 vaccination in Lampung was 12.3 percent, the 2nd vaccination was 7.78 percent.
DKI Jakarta is the province with the highest achievement of the 1st dose of COVID-19 vaccination in Indonesia, reaching 111.41 percent, followed by Bali with 91.94 percent, and Riau Islands with 72.72 percent.
In the same order, DKI Jakarta is also the province with the 2nd highest dose of COVID-19 vaccination in Indonesia with 57.73 percent, followed by Bali 47.18 percent, and Riau Islands with 27.32 percent.
