jpnn.com, BANDUNG – West Java Police (Jabar) is deepening the mastermind who invited to call for the call to prayer with the word jihad which is now circulating on social media.
Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Kombes Pol Erdi A Chaniago, said that there was a group of people in Majalengka Regency who called for the call to prayer, the contents of which were changed from the word ‘hayya alal shalaah’ to ‘hayya alal jihad’.
“Investigators from the West Java Regional Police and the Majalengka Police will investigate who distributed them and who ordered them. This is a special concern of the West Java Regional Police,” Erdi said in Bandung, Friday (4/12).
In this regard, according to him, the police have also formed a special team to hunt down the mastermind who invites the call to prayer for jihad.
According to Erdi, this is strange because it happened simultaneously in various regions, including West Java.
“This is being explored again, because what we are worried about in one day, yes, is in West Java and other areas,” he said.
The police also, he said, had investigated the seven people in Majalengka who were suspected of being involved in the video recording calling for the call to prayer for jihad.
The video is spread on social media with a duration of 43 seconds.
