She had presented her list “Ecological and united Dijon” in the municipal elections of 2020 and came third with 21.63% of the vote in the second round. The former assistant to the ecology of the mayor François Rebsamen proposed his list, riding the ecological wave in the municipal 2020.
Who is Stéphanie Modde?
Stéphanie Modde is a business services advisor at Pôle Emploi. Regarding her political career, since 2014 she has been deputy to the town hall of Dijon, in charge of urban ecology and the living environment. She is also an advisor to Dijon Métropole in charge of biodiversity.
She was elected for 6 years as Regional Councilor within the Vocational Training and Apprenticeship Commission, from 2004 to 2010.
Will the ecological list be conducted alone?
Stéphanie Modde will most likely be appointed head of the Europe Ecology – The Greens list presented this Monday, February 15. It will also nominate allied candidates for the election.
The president of the Regional Council Marie-Guyte Dufay (PS) deplores the disunity of the left.
In the columns of the Republican Yonne of February 14, Mme Dufay, regarding a left-wing rally list, said: “We are still in talks, we have appointments until the end of February. I do not resolve myself to this situation, the union of the left and the ecologists is an imperative. I think we have more points of convergence to argue than grounds of disunity. I am thinking of Cap 21 and Corinne Lepage, with whom I campaigned in 2015. We are on exactly the same wavelength, that of a transformative and disruptive ecology, but pragmatic and reasoned. “

In the 2020 municipal elections, the breakthrough of environmentalist lists
