Who is Raúl Cimas, the new guest on David Broncano’s ‘La Revuelta’? | LOS40

The first week of David Broncano’s La Revuelta has got off to a great start. Even more so after having become the most watched programme of prime time for two consecutive nights thanks to Nawja Nimri and Juan José Millas and Juan Luis Arsuaga. As Nebulossa would say, RTVE’s La 1 is in a good moment and it was only a matter of time and for this there is nothing better than maintaining the essence of the programme, which is none other than bringing in characters from all walks of life. The week began with sport, continued with acting, continued with literature and ends with humour. Thus, the guest for this Thursday, 12 September, is the actor and screenwriter, Raúl Cimas.

Who is Raul Cimas?

Raúl Cimas Navarro was born on November 5, 1976 in Albacete and is known for his great work as a comedian, actor and screenwriter. A job for which he has always been passionate and, although he started on the stage of theaters, he quickly realized that what truly made him happy was humor.

His big break came in 2001 when he signed with Paramount Comedy, where he began his first cameos and work alongside other comedians such as Pablo Chapela and Ernesto Sevilla, forming the famous “Trío de Albacete” at that time. Although he has participated in several plays as well as in different television programs, it was La hora chanante (2002) and Muchacha nui that led him to take the big leap; in fact, it was in the latter that he played numerous characters with his characteristic La Mancha style.

Theatre and cinema have always been his great passions, however, he has also done work in the world of literature, publishing a comic book entitled Too Much Passion for His Own.

Finally, his latest project that takes him to La Revuelta

This is not the first time that Raúl Cimas has visited David Broncano’s set and has shown the great affinity he has with the presenter, although, yes, when he was La Resistencia. His visit to La Revuelta is due to his next release that will be available on Prime Video this September 13, En Fin. A comedy in which the plot revolves around the premise of the apocalypse, exploring how the characters face the end of the world with humor and living surreal situations. What he seeks with this project is to contribute his way of seeing life to something as feared as the end of the world.
