The former diver, who retired from the sport after his participation in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, married his partner and influencer, Lyla Fa, before his retirement.

Alhely Fallah, known as Lyla Fa, is a 31-year-old influencer who was born in Yucatan and is dedicated to promoting a healthy life with vegan diets, where she shares nutrition plans.

Former diver Rommel Pacheco and the influencer got married in a Mayan ceremony that took place in Yucatán, where they are from.

The event was private and only the couple’s closest relatives attended. Through social media, Rommel and his wife shared some details of the event and noted that the religious ceremony could not be held due to the coronavirus pandemic.

At the wedding, the couple wore traditional Yucatan costumes, where Lylo wore a huipil with a long veil, while Rommel wore a filipina with white pants.

Through the influencer’s Instagram profile, she shared the video of when she dedicated her vows to Rommel.

“I accept you, Rommel, as my husband, and I promise to be faithful, in prosperity and in adversity, in health and in sickness, and to love and respect you all the days of my life,” Alhely told him.

Regarding the party, Pacheco’s partner said that very few people attended the celebration, where there was a table with toasts and some natural decorations.

Who is Rommel Pacheco, the new head of Conade?

Rommel Aghmed Pacheco Marrufo is originally from Mérida, Yucatán and was born in 1986. He has a degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Human Capital from the Universidad Anáhuac del Sur.

The new head of Conade participated as a diver in four editions of the Olympic Games (Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020).

After his participation in the last Olympic Games, he began his political career as a candidate for federal deputy with the National Action Party (PAN).

In 2023 he left the PAN to join Morena, where he was a candidate for mayor of Mérida.
