Hovik Keuchkerian is a Lebanese actor, writer and former boxer who has Spanish nationality. He has been part of successful productions such as “La casa de papel”, a series in which he brought Bogotá to life.

He was born in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, where he lived for a short time, because when he was three years old his parents emigrated to Spain because of the Lebanese Civil War.
From a very young age he started working. After his family settled in Alpedrete, his father opened a restaurant, where Hovik was a waiter. When he was 20 years old he moved to Madrid, where he opened his gym in 1995, which he named with his initials: HK, which was in operation for 20 years, as it closed in December 2015.

After leaving basketball, Keuchkerian began practicing kick boxing, which he perfected and gave him his first national championship in 1996..
