None of the judges guessed who was hiding behind the image
The jury of the “Mask” music show on NTV was confused after one of the project participants revealed his personality – the Olympic champion in track and field athletics Svetlana Masterkova was behind the mask of “Clouds”.
52-year-old Russian athlete sang a song from the repertoire of Nat King Cole Quizas, quizas, quizas. Prior to this, the jury listed the names of many celebrities who could be in a bright image – Tatyana Navka, Nargiz, Vera Brezhneva, Anna Semenovich. None of the judges considered the candidacy of Masterkova.
Therefore, all five – Timur Rodriguez, Regina Todorenko, Philipp Kirkorov, Valeria and Garik Martirosyan – were surprised when the participant took off the mask.
“This cannot be! Light, how do you sing!” They exclaimed.
But Kirkorov lost his bet. Prior to this, the pop king promised his colleagues that if Nargiz does not appear in the image of the Cloud, then he will buy each of them any thing he likes at the Central Department Store.

The Mask show is a Russian adaptation of the popular Korean project The King of Mask Singer. Its essence lies in the fact that 12 stars put on a “mask” – a spectacular costume. Project participants should sing a song on stage, and viewers and jury members should try to guess who is hiding behind the image. Six episodes of the show have already appeared on NTV.
In addition to Masterkova, the identities of Vadim Takmenev, Stas Kostyushkin, Alexei Glyzin, Oksana Fedorova and Elena Katina are revealed. The masks of the Parrot, Panda, Leo, Deer, Wolf and Eggs remain unsolved.
