After Jeff Smith who was arrested for the second time and named a suspect today, another soap opera actor who suffered the same fate.
The artist with the initials BJ has been detained by the Polda Metro Jaya since Friday night (10/11). This was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Zulpan.
“Yes, it’s true (arrested),” he told detikcom, Saturday (11/12/2021).
Kombes Zulpan said the arrested artist had evidence of methamphetamine. He also explained the profession of the artist who mostly plays in soap operas.
“Soap opera artists too,” he continued.
The news of the arrest, which had just been circulating since this afternoon, is still unknown. The public and the media do not yet know who the figure with the initials BJ is.
The police secured BJ in the Tangerang area on Friday (10/12) night. BJ is still being investigated by the police until now.
In the midst of these rumors, there was the name Ben Joshua who was suddenly invaded by netizens and asked about it.
However Ben Joshua confirmed his condition was fine and not the artist who was arrested for drugs. He revealed this through his personal Instagram page.
“Actually, I don’t want to clarify because I think it will go away on its own, I also explained it in stories. But this is really disturbing,” said Ben Joshua.
“I have now arrived home, yes, in good condition and not tripping over drugs,” he said again.
He also asked all parties not to be affected by the problem. He was furious because his name was mentioned entangled with drugs.
Exactly a week ago, soap opera actor Jeff Smith was arrested for a drug case after three months of being released from prison. Today, he has been named a suspect in the case.
The actor stumbled again on drug problems and was arrested while inside his house in the Depok area.
