Today, A. is a 47-year-old woman. At the time of the facts, she had just turned 18. The research shows that – to put it mildly – she had quite a turbulent childhood, in which she ran away from home and experimented with drugs. In 1993, two years after the murders, she also spent some time in a psychiatric institution for her behavioral disorders and drug use. Her family doctor then described her behavior as “psychotic, unstructured, perverse and amoral”. But she herself claims that she has never had any mental or psychological problems and that her drug or alcohol use was not problematic.
Her lawyer Nick Heinen emphasizes that she is currently “very hard”. “Her life has been turned upside down, she is unfairly accused of double murder.” She has a logical explanation for that DNA trace on the jeans. How the combination of blood and DNA got on the pants is also a mystery to us. “
