According to the Daily Mail, there could be a surprising outcome. A source reports to the tabloid that Elizabeth’s youngest son Prince Edward and his family will be one of two chosen households.
The arrival of Prince Charles and Camilla seems less obvious because they would then no longer be able to see Camilla’s children and grandchildren. Prince William and Catherine also like to visit Catherine’s parents for Christmas.
Buckingham Palace only reported last month that decisions about Christmas would not be made until the last minute. The family normally meets for lunch at Buckingham Palace a few days before the holidays and then gathers in Sandringham.
