who disappeared on the way to Holguín – 2024-05-01 18:16:15

A family is desperate and is asking for help to locate a man identified as Felipe Mir, who left Havana more than two weeks ago bound for Holguín and disappeared along the way.

The complaint was made by Cuban influencer Niover Licea, who points out that his family has not had contact with Mir in more than 17 days and has asked for the community’s help to obtain information about it.

According to Licea, the missing person’s loved ones are worried, as they consider it not normal that he has not tried to communicate with them.

“The family is completely immersed in anguish and is desperate,” added the influencer, pointing out that the Island has registered an increase in similar cases.

While this and other publications related to the case do not reveal more details such as the clothing that the man was wearing at the time of his disappearance, they managed to share a photograph of Mir.

The family’s concern is due to the notable increase in the number of violent crimes around the country, which have been reported with greater frequency on social networks.

The situation worsens if several similar cases that have occurred in recent months are taken into account, where families ask for help to find their loved ones and they are found dead due to the aforementioned violence.

One of the cases was recorded months ago in Mayabeque, where a Cuban who was visiting the Island disappeared along with his car at the beginning of January. The case received a lot of media attention, and the citizens of the Island were aware of the search.

The young man, identified as Yorjelguis Bolaños Fernández, was found dead a few weeks after his disappearance. this after his car was found unlocked in Havana.

After interrogations, it was determined that a group of people had murdered the young man to take his belongings, burying the body and unlocking the car shortly after.

Likewise, it was learned that one of the detainees, identified as Dayani Vega Rodríguez, had a plane ticket to Nicaragua, but was arrested before she could travel to the airport.
