‘Bullet Train’, la fast-paced, brutal and shameless David Leitch Action Proposal, director of ‘John Wick’, ‘Atomic’ and ‘Deadpool 2’. A film in which Brad Pitt gets into the skin of a hitman whose apparent simple mission is to travel to Japan to get a briefcase and get off bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. Now, what he didn’t expect was that had to face other contract killers. Who reaches the destination alive?

Although, supposedly, there are five murderers who get on the train to get hold of the suitcase, in the end there are up to eight assassins who end up sharing a trip to Kyoto, where White Death (Michael Shannon), leader of a deadly criminal organization, awaits them. But first it’s time to remember who are the assassins summoned in this bloody bullet train journey.
In addition to Ladybug (Brad Pitt), on the train they travel ‘melizos’ Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry) y Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), British adoptive brothers whose mission is to escort the son of White Death (Logan Lerman), along with a briefcase containing a substantial amount of cash.
In another car, is Prince (Joey King), una assassin with an English accent who poses as a high school girl and Yuichi (Andrew Koji), a Japanese man who goes in search of the person who pushed his son from a tall building and, curiously, ends up being held hostage by Prince and discovers that it was the young woman who pushed her little boy.
Three more assassins join them on the journey. The first is the wolf (Bad Bunny), Mexican hit man who takes a ticket on the bullet train to avenge the death of his entire family. He believes that the culprit is Ladybug, but in reality, the one responsible for the massacre is Hornet (Zazie Beetz), American assassin specializing in poisons. Hornet is also on board the train. Finally, who joins this trip is Elder (Hiroyuki Sanada), a former hitman and Yuichi’s father.
Beyond the reasons for which each one is famous or has ended up traveling on the bullet train, White Death’s plan was that the assassins killed each other, since it was he who summoned them and ordered them to reach Kyoto with the bag. The crime lord considered them guilty of the death of his wife, who died in a traffic accident, although he discovered that she was actually killed when they tried to kill him.
One way or another, Lemon, Tangerine, Ladybug, Lobo and Hornet, were related to the death of White Death’s wife, like the son he sends to rescue. The twins killed all the men of the crime lord in Bolivia, which prevented them from protecting the woman from him. Later, the surgeon who was supposed to save his life, died poisoned in the operating room by the perfidious Hornet. Ladybug was the one who caused the car accident and the son of White Death he was responsible for his wife leaving home, due to one of his many drug problems.
The rest of the assassins simply agreed on the trip due to the young Prince’s plans to kill his father., which turns out to be White Death. What was devised by the crime lord is half fulfilled. On the way, his son, Lobo, Hornet and Tangerine die, leaving only Ladybug and Lemon of the others alive. hit men summoned by Michael Shannon’s character.

Of the other assassins, Prince, Yuichi and Elder are left alive at the end of the journey. The latter draws up a plan with Ladybug and Lemon to confront White Death. Arriving in Kyoto, the head of the criminal organization reveals his intentions to them and that is where his second mistake occurs: Ladybug was not the one who forced the accident with his wife. The hit man was substituting Carver (Ryan Reynolds), the real person responsible for the death of death, on this mission due to a medical problem.
Yuichi, Elder, Ladybug and Lemon manage to the minions of White Death and the crime lord himself enter the bullet train, which launches him without brakes in a race to kill all the gangster’s pawns. Elder, who wished take revenge on White Death since he destroyed from within the yakuza where he was and was responsible for the death of his wife, he manages to leave the mobster very touched.
Finally, end up staying on the train Yuichi, Elder, Ladybug and White Death (Prince fled before Prince began to move, being unable to kill his father), as Lemon falls into a river. The train ends up crashing in a town after the bomb Prince put in the briefcase went off.
When it seemed that everything was going to be lost, White Death inadvertently takes the manipulated weapon that his daughter had (which, instead of shooting the victim, shoots whoever uses it) and when shooting, he takes the bullet, dying on the spot. Yuichi, Elder and Ladybug seem to have survived… what none of the three expected was that Prince arrived ready to kill them and establish herself as the successor of her ill-fated father.
However, Prince dies, being brutally run over by a truck full of tangerines. In the final credits it is revealed that the truck with the fruits was driven by Lemon, who thus avenged the death of his brother Tangerine, since the instigator of the death of Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s character was crushed to death just because of the citrus fruits that served as an alias, poetic justice.
Lemon flees the scene; Yuichi and Elder return to Tokyo to reunite with Yuichi’s son.who is admitted to the hospital after the fall, and Ladybug is picked up by Maria Beetle (Sandra Bullock), her boss and who was helping him during the mission. With which, of the eight assassins who traveled on the bullet train, at the end of the tape only four survive. Nothing bad, taking into account that they had to kill each other.
