The president-elect has already announced some Cabinet positions, such as White House Chief of Staff and National Security Advisor.
After a landslide victory in the US presidential elections last week, Donald Trump is now working with his transition team to select members for his new Administration. The names that could be in key positions in the future of the Government are already starting to appear in the American media.
Movement Team
according to politicsthe Trump transition team is led by Howard LutnickCEO of financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald, and Linda McMahonwho was the director of the Small Business Administration during Trump’s first term and is now the chairman of the board of the America First Policy Institute (AFPI), a think tank created by friends of the Republican leader.
Lutnick will reportedly handle personnel matters, while McMahon will handle political matters. According to two people close to Lutnick, he has been heavily involved in developing the list of Cabinet members. For its part, AFPI McMahon has already done much of the initial political planning, including the preparation of over 100 planned actions.
In addition, the transition team includes the children of the Republican winner: Donald Trump Jr.which is expected to assist in the selection of employees, and Eric Trump. There is also the president’s running mate, JD Vancethe former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Democratic congressman Tulsi Gabbard.


Department of State
- The Republican senator Marco Rubio. Various Politico sources they celebrate that the former member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the top Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee are among the candidates for secretary of state.
- Former US Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell. According to Axios sources, the official advised Trump on foreign policy during the campaign, and would likely focus on diplomacy between Russia and Ukraine.
- The grandfather Bill Hagertywho was the US ambassador to Japan during Trump’s first term.
- Robert O’Brienformer National Security Adviser, who is considered a strong supporter of NATO and Kyiv in the Republican Party.


Department of Defense
- Tom Cottongrandfather from Arkansas. He was an infantry officer in the Army and a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. He was an early supporter of Trump and advised him during his first presidency.
Department of Energy
- Doug Burgum. Trump previously said at a rally that “the governor of North Dakota probably knows more about energy than anybody I know.” Furthermore, when the former president asked him to inform him that he had not been chosen as his running mate, he greeted him on the phone as “Mr. Secretary.”
- Mark Menezes, President and CEO of the US Energy Association. Additionally, he served as chief counsel to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
- Paul animal. In the previous Trump Administration, he was the fourth Under Secretary of Science in that Department and the agency’s chief adviser on basic energy research, energy technologies and science.
- The former Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette.


Department of Finance
- Scott Bessantfounder of the hedge fund Key Square Group.
- Robert LighthizerCommerce chief in Trump’s first term.
- Jay Claytonwho was the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission in the previous Trump Administration.
- Larry Kudlowformer director of Trump’s National Economic Council. He is also the vice president of the America First Policy Institute.
- John Paulsonbillionaire financier who has supported Trump since 2016.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. In August, he ended his presidential campaign to endorse Trump in exchange for a top role in public health, according to confirmed in conversation with patrons. Meanwhile, according to sources, there are doubts that the Senate will confirm Kennedy for a Cabinet position. However, he was able to get a position in the White House, overseeing health care and food management.

- Paul Mangoformer deputy chief of staff at the Department during the Trump Administration and current public counsel at the Paragon Health Institute.
- Joe Grogan. He was the director of the Domestic Policy Council during Trump’s first term.

General fiscal
- Jeff Clark, a former attorney at the Department of Justice. He launched a pressure campaign to try to prevent the transfer of powers after the victory of Joe Biden in the 2020 election.
- John Ratcliffewho was congressman and director of National Intelligence in Trump’s first administration.


Department of Agriculture
- Sid MillerTexas Commissioner of Agriculture. Trump has talked about Miller as someone he is considering for the position.
- Tom chickenco-chairman of the group Farmers and Ranchers for Trump.
- Ted McKinnonwho was the assistant secretary of agriculture for trade and foreign agricultural affairs during Trump’s first term.
Department of Labor
- Patrick Pizzellawho was Deputy Secretary of Labor.
- Bryan Slater.He served as Under Secretary for Administration and Management at the Department and as Under Secretary for Administration at the Department of Transportation under President Trump.
Department of Transport

- Betsy DeVos. She was Secretary of Education in Trump’s first term.

- Tiffany Justiceco-founder of Moms For Liberty, a conservative education group known for its efforts to restrict certain books in schools, especially those with LGBT* themes.

- Elise StefanikHouse Republicans, have been name US Ambassador to the United Nations.
- Michael WaltzUS Army veteran and counter-terrorism adviser to then-Vice President Dick Cheney under President George W. Bush, to become national security adviser.


* The international LGBT movement has been identified as an extremist group on the territory offront in Russia in the country, the international LGBT movement is banned in the country.
