The provision that will allow the payment of the so-called “catering bonus”, a non-repayable grant for the purchase of 100% Made in Italy products, has been published in the Official Gazette. How to apply and to whom.
Starting tomorrow the questions to get the so-called “Restaurant bonus” that is a non-repayable grant for product purchases Made in Italy.
The Ministry of Agriculture has prepared a Catering fund with an initial endowment of 600 million euros to help the agri-food chain that has suffered and is suffering drastic drops in turnover during the year.
Catering bonus starting from 1000 euros: who can apply
In its explanatory slides, the Ministry emphasizes that the catering bonus is aimed at restaurants, pizzerias, canteens, catering services, agritourisms and hotels with food administration with the following prevailing ATECO codes:

(catering with administration)

(people)

(continuous catering on a contractual basis)

(catering activities related to farms)

(event catering, banqueting)

(hotels) limited to activities authorized for the administration of food
Furthermore, these activities between March and June 2020 they must have suffered a decrease in turnover of at least 25% compared to the same months of the previous year.

Catering bonus starting from 1000 euros: how and when to apply
The Catering fund established, the Ministry still explains, will allow grants from a minimum of one thousand up to a maximum of ten thousand euros for the purchase of products 100% Made in Italy. The products included in the catering fund are all those purchased with tax documentation, starting from 14 August 2020 that come from the agricultural and agri-food chains Made in Italy.
Applications can be submitted through the Catering Portal (www.portaleristorazione.it) from 15 November 2020 to 28 November 2020 or at post office counters from 16 November 2020 to 28 November 2020 during counter opening hours.
1000 euro catering bonus: all the steps to follow to obtain the contribution
In summary, these are the steps to take to get to the disbursement of the grant from the Catering bonus:
1) Submission of the application online or at a post office, following purchase, with tax documentation, made starting from 14 August 2020.
2) The restaurateur must present the receipt of payment for the purchases made.
3) After an initial check, an advance of 90% of the purchases made will be paid by bank transfer from the Italian Post Office.
4) At the end of these steps, the remaining 10% of the total amount granted will also be paid, again by bank transfer from Poste Italiane.
