1 Roberto Cabanas
Winner of the Copa America with Paraguay (1979), three-time Copa Libertadores finalist with America Cali (1985, 1986 and 1987), Roberto Cabanas (28 appearances, eleven goals) played for Brest for two seasons, from 1988 to 1990, first to Lyon (one season) and then back to South America, in particular to Boca Juniors (from 1991 to 1993 then in 1995). Born 1 March 1964, Paul Le Guen was an international footballer before retraining as a manager. At a very young age, he played for US Pencran, AS Brestoise and Brest Armorique.
