After months of negotiations, several Western countries and Russia have reached an agreement to carry out what many consider to be the most significant prisoner exchange since the Cold War. The operation, which took place on Thursday at Ankara airport (Turkey), resulted in the release of 24 prisoners. Russia has thus received 8 prisoners in exchange for 16 of different nationalities. Below is the complete list of prisoners involved in the exchange:
