The opportunity for the 50-year-old singer to silence certain persistent rumors about her private life. The one who is followed by more than two million people on Instagram has built over time a reputation for “man-eater”. Qualifier which, according to her, does not correspond to her at all. And for good reason…
“It annoys me to read all the nonsense that can be written about this. In my life, I have kissed seven men, and I have married four, that’s saying something. I find it unfair that the I’m reduced to that. We would never do this kind of trial to a man. So no, I’m not a man-eater. I was probably a victim of my youth.she said in the columns of Gala in 2021.
Who were the men in Anggun’s life?
The Franco-Indonesian artist has been married four times. Between 1992 and 1999, the former juror of Mask Singer was married to a certain Michel Georgea. Five years after her first divorce, in 2004, she married Olivier Maury. Unfortunately, the romance was short-lived since they divorced in 2006.
The former candidate of Dancing with the stars then fell under the spell of the French novelist Cyril Montana, with whom she first had a little daughter, Kirana, born in November 2007, and whom she then married in 2010. But from 2012, their relationship took ‘eau and the two artists ended up divorcing in 2015.
Then, Florent Pagny’s accomplice met the man she considers to be the man of her life: the German photographer, originally from Hamburg, Christian Kretschmar. A meeting full of emotions that she had told Gala in 2021. “I really liked Chris, but he’s German, Protestant and we were married separately!”she initially confided. Before specifying: “In 2012, when we met again, we were both separated and therefore free to love each other. Our relationship was obvious, it imposed itself on us”. All’s well that ends well for Anggun and his soul mate, nicknamed “Mister Husband”, who said yes to each other in Bali on August 16, 2018.
