The White House said that 2023 was a “wonderful year” for the country’s jobs sector, as the local economy was able to create 2.7 million new jobs during it.
The White House explained – in a post on its website – that the unemployment rate during the year 2023 fell to less than 4%, and the number of jobs available during is more than it was during any year of the previous administration during the era of Donald Trump, according to the American report.
The White House publication confirmed that job creation continued strongly even with inflation declining to the pre-Corona pandemic level of 2% during the past six months, and major prices declined over the past year for a number of goods such as children’s toys, appliances, cars, rentals, and airline prices. American workers’ wages and wealth are higher now than they were before the pandemic began, adjusting for inflation, according to the report.
The White House post stressed that President Joe Biden “will not stop fighting for American workers and American families, knowing that some prices are still too high for too many Americans.”
