White House spokesman John Kirby said that the United States expects additional security requests from Israel and will try to meet everything it needs as quickly as possible, pointing out that “if we need additional defense funding for Israel, we will ask Congress.”
He pointed out that Washington can support Israel and Ukraine at the same time.
The spokesman stressed that the United States does not see conclusive evidence regarding reports reported by the Wall Street Journal that Tehran is directly involved in Hamas attacks on Israel.
