Officers found a large amount of white heroin in a car in the city last Tuesday. The cargo of drugs was stored in a hidden room.

Officers had the found packages examined by a forensic team. The contents looked like cocaine, but it turned out to be white heroin. The driver of the car, a 46-year-old man from The Hague, has been arrested.
“White heroin can sometimes be confused with cocaine by unwitting users. This mistake can be life-threatening since heroin is much stronger than cocaine,” police said.
In 2014 passed away three British tourists in the city from the effects of sniffing white heroin. They also probably thought they had bought cocaine.
