In 2017, director Jiří Chlumský made a comedy that describes the adventures of fathers and their children who go on the water unaccompanied by their wives. The actors like to remember the filming, even though everyone had a lot of problems during it. However, one was quite crucial. In the end, they solved it in a rather interesting way.
The real brothers played in the film
Two real brothers starred in the comedy Spunti on the Water. They were Filip Antonio and Viktor Antonio. Filip prefers to remember the director. The younger of the couple – Viktor – se first appeared in 2015 in the musical Children of Paradise, and has been pursuing an acting career ever since. But Filip is not idle either. He even starred in Michael Douglas and John Malkovich in Unlocked.
The opening song is called Sázava
Michal Hrůza sang the introductory song entitled “Sázava” for the film. This song was also released on the singer’s album from 2017, which was called Alone with Himself. In total, the filming lasted only 33 days and was filmed in Český Štemberk, Kácov, Soběšín and many other beautiful places in our republic. In addition to the Antoni brothers, Hynek Čermák, Jiří Langmajer, Pavel Liška and Anna Polívková, for example, played here.
Curiously, they solved a big problem
However, not everything went according to plan and the film crew had to face many problems. The worst thing, however, was that there was critically little water in the Sázava River at the time of filming. The director had to improvise. He solved the problem by summoned a team of stuntmen who had to jump into the water and move the boat by hand under the surface by handto make it appear to be constantly on the move. Although the shooting took place in the summer months, the water was so cold that they had to work in wetsuits.
Viewers appreciate this film. According to many, it is a film that has a head and a heel, can entertain and not get bored.
