Kannur: A woman died of burns while burning charcoal in Kottiyur. Ponnamma, a native of Chechappamala, died. While burning the charcoal, the fire accidentally spread to the body.

For the past few days, fires have been raging all over this region. To avoid this, all the charcoal leaves were collected and burnt in advance.
